Festival of the Dark Arts

Darkness falls upon Astoria every winter... and stout lovers rejoice. All areas of the Fort George Brewery block will be overflowing with dark art, darker entertainment, and the darkest selection of craft beer ever assembled.

FisherPoets Gathering

Originally conceived as a modest cultural reunion for far-flung friends in the commercial fishing fleet, the FisherPoets Gathering now attracts nearly a hundred poets, songwriters and storytellers from both the west and east coasts’ commercial fishing communities. They gather in Astoria’s pubs, restaurants and galleries to read for each other and for the hundreds of fisherpoetry fans who come to hear the authentic, creative voices of deckhands and skippers, cannery workers and shipwrights, young greenhorns and old timers, strong women and good-looking men.

Pacific Northwest Brew Cup

The Pacific Northwest Brew Cup is an annual beer festival held the last full weekend in September in beautiful Astoria, Oregon. The festival features northwest beers on tap Friday through Sunday, along with live music, food vendors, and activities for the kiddos. Admission is FREE. Beer tokens for sale.
